I started the Better Life Boot Camp
last November. My initial weight was 210 pounds and my waist was 38.5 inches.
Along with the weight loss plan that Better Life offers, the pounds started to
drop off. I'll admit that I was sore for what seemed like the entire 30 days,
but as soreness subsided, my fitness level increased and I lost 18 pounds the
first two months. I continued the Boot Camp for an additional 5 months and have
lost 34 pounds total. Depending on how hard Dr. Chet pushes us, I am only sore
occasionally. My waist is down to 34 inches, which this Baby Boomer has not seen
since the Disco days. Thanks Better Life!

Boot camp was like working with a
personal trainer for me, I had never done an abdominal or a weight training
routine. I learned the series of exercises which has now given me the confidence
to carry on. Since starting boot camp I have seen over an inch reduction in my
hip measurement. Also very important to me was strengthening my body and
improving bone density as I was in the osteopenia category last time I had a
bone scan. I feel confident that working out every day will pay off in a myriad
of ways - I already feel much healthier, stronger and have more energy.

I was part of the initial group to
attend the Better Life Boot Camp. I was apprehensive at first because I'm in my
50's and wasn't sure if I could handle the strenuous weight training and
discipline. To my surprise, I found other people in camp were also feeling the
same way and Dr. Chet continually encouraged us to push ourselves individually
but not feel like it was a competition with others. I lost 7 lbs the first month
plus 3 inches. The biggest improvement for me has been in my cardiovascular
health. I take dance classes and find I can dance longer and at a higher
intensity than I could before attending Boot Camp.
